I don’t know about you but I hate having to wait for my YouTube videos to buffer all the time! So I found a program that will help with my problem of having to wait and maybe yours too, and it’s called Videoaccelerator. (Go here: http://www.videoaccelerator.com/ to try it out for yourself, it’s a free download. Once you go through the setup which takes less than a minute you can begin viewing video content from all over not just YouTube. So I decided to watch a video from one of my favorite tech Gurus Chris Pirillo and his latest video. Found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2vgdorsUFEI Video Accelerator buffered the entire video in about 103 seconds without it stopping, not to bad considering I’m on wireless. Now for the big test, I always have issues trying to buffer anything beyond 480P so now I am going to count how long the same video takes to fully buffer in 480P and to see if it stops or not using Videoaccelerator. Sadly in only 14 seconds the video stopped and had to buffer BUT it makes up for that because only in 105 seconds it fully buffered and it only stopped one time pretty good if I may say so myself. So far I’m pretty impressed seems to work quite well. I would give it 4 out of 5 stars just because it had to stop and buffer and it takes a bit longer than I expected to fully load the videos. I think this would be perfect for when you have a slow connection or are on a wireless connection. If you have any questions or comments please feel free to E-mail me at [email protected]
