Hey guys. My desktop recently broke. My Northbridge got loose and came off of my Motherboard and I had a defective Ram card. My PC is fine now and it is all fixed. And guess what? I finally upgraded my Ram from 512MB ram to 1GB Ram. Remember, 1GB Ram is 1024MB Ram. Windows 7 is very fast with 1GB Ram for me. Right now I have Google Chrome running with a Youtube Video playing and Xchat opened in Windows 7 Home Premium with Aero running and it is only using 47% of my Ram. That means it is only using 481MB of Ram and I have 543MB Ram left to run programs. The Minimum Recommended Amount of Ram is 1GB Ram stated by Microsoft. Really, 512MB is the least amount you can have. If you want to multi-task, I recommend 1GB Ram. I have a Pentium 4 processor 2.50Ghz it is fine in Windows 7. Windows 7 doesn't use a lot of power from it at all.
